peanuts.

Just imagine for a moment what Jimmy Hoffa would have paid for a new identity. I'll bet it would have been quite a lot of money, and because of that I kind of wish he was an APUG member to see this offer. And he may be one, you know? They never found his body, did they? So, psst, Jimbo. Yes, you. Here you have a chance to get a brand new identity and some useful stuff in the deal.

First, for $5 plus the actual cost of shipping, you're going to get one Hoya 67mm Skylight (1B) filter. And also for that fin, you're going to get a 67mm Tiffen Sky 1-A filter. And that's not all...you're also going to get a slip-on Vivitar Series 1 lens cap that will work with either of these filters. And a change in identity? You betcha. Just take a look at the anonymous fellow below. In the first image, he's wearing the two filters as 1967 type sunglasses...and it would be very easy to mistake you for Sonny Bono, wouldn't it? Sure it would. What do you think Cher would say about that (wink, wink, nod, nod)? In the second image, he's placed the lens cap over the right filter and...aargh matey, it looks like Captain Sculley there.

Don't wait. You never know when you might need a little bit of cover.

Jon

Sirius, dude, he's illustrating the amazing transformational effect of a few simple items on a single subject. Sort of like how a dress transforms you.

Sorry, Sirius, my mistake. That was a skirt I saw you in. As for noting your sartorial proclivities, yes I'm still doing that.

No, that was you. You were drunk as a skunk and when you saw yourself in the mirror you freaked out.

Speaking of identity, one alert APUG member sent me this link. This is great stuff! It looks like Cher may have had an alter ego back in the 1960s:

Yes! Inga Rumph- the queen of German R&B. Which sounds like a joke, I know, but she's good. This was very early in her career.

What were you willing to pay? I could do another self-portrait if you're interested. Maybe I could also do one of Jimmy (Jimbo) Hoffa. Did anyone think my mention of him 3 days before the AP story about the latest search was interesting timing?

Jimmy Hoffa is pulling a Sadam Hussein! Jimmy is hiding in a covered hole in the ground until it is safe to come out.

Oh yeah, he's down there with Elvis, isn't he?

Oh, for anyone needing a new identity, please watch the "anything goes" section...soon, maybe tomorrow you may get a chance.
