This Japanese-made Focus Scope (no other brand markings) came to me with some other darkroom equipment. It's a lightweight plastic unit and the construction quality is nowhere near that of my expensive Peak magnifier but the two agree. Like other grain focusers It has a focusing eyepiece that needs to be adjusted before use so you can clearly see the target. If I were to keep it I'd add a little weight by gluing a small piece of metal inside the hollow base - the base cavity is about 5mm high so a piece of 10 gauge steel would fit nicely without affecting the unit's height. Remember that it uses a first-surface mirror and you should take care not to scratch it when cleaning.

$25 will get it to your US address, I will cover shipping and PayPal fees. International shipping will add to the cost, send me an email and we can see if it makes financial sense.
