I have reluctantly decided that I will never have the time to really get the use from this camera that I had intended since I now don't have regular access to a studio. I advertised it a few weeks ago and have had some interest but no firm sale yet.
There were around 10 of these mammoth 20"x24" cameras made by Lotus in Austria and they are still supported by the very helpful team at Lotus View Camera and also Linhof and Studio here in the UK.

This one has the caddy for wheeling around indoors. It has an onboard hand cranked generator for operating servo motors setting the focus, rise and shift from behind the camera. A light shows when the zero position has been reached. All this can be done from behind the camera. Other movements are manual. The caddy height can be adjusted by a motor.
It comes apart into 2 pieces (camera and caddy), both with their own bespoke Tenba semi-soft transport cases. It's heavy......really best in a studio environment.
Also included in this sale are 2 x Lotus 20x24 cherry wood double darkslides.
All functions are working and the whole ensemble is in excellent condition. It has just been brought out of storage for a check over and a quick snap.

If you were to buy this new today it would be an astonishing amount of money.
Although not a cheap proposition I am asking ÂŁ8500 GBP including 2 film holders and camera cases. I also have a selection of suitable lenses which could be used for different purposes with this camera by separate negotiation, including Nikon 450mm Nikkor-M in Copal 3, Rodenstock 600mm Apo-Ronar MC in Compur 5 FS shutter with behind the camera control box, Docter 750mm Apo-Germinar in Copal 3, etc.
