1) FS: Agfa Ansco Wooden Tripod - Has wear to metal and wood finish but has a nice patina and would be excellent for displaying a vintage wood field camera.
Has a geared center column, with a very nice 9 1/2 x 6 3/4 inch mounting platform. Platform has forward and side to side tilt as well as pan. This platform is excellent for mounting a wooden tailboard camera. The bed extension and main part of the camera are well supported. That said, this tripod is better for display purposes rather than using it out in the field. Gold finished metal pieces with stained lacquer finished wood. 35 inches folded, 52 inches maximum height, weighs 10 lbs. Estimated age - 1930's to 1940's Price: $195 plus shipping in the CONUS

2) FS: Thalhammer Wooden Tripod - Metal has some wear, wood is in very good condition. One knob is a replacement, and one has been repaired. Leg extensions are reversible with ground spikes. The two original knobs have an elegant Art Deco design, see photos. Adjusts from 32 to 54 inches high. Weight 5.58 lbs. Estimated age - 1930's to 1940's Price: $65 plus shipping in the CONUS

The Thalhammer's are great tripods. I have too many tripods already, including a Thalhammer, otherwise I'd be jumping on this.
