I will gladly get some photos of these up if there's interest.
I'm selling two NUMBERS MISMATCHED Hasselblad A12 backs.
These are black backs(not as easy to find) with matching black inserts, just as mentioned the SNs don't match on the inserts.
These backs came to me with a 553ELX outfit, and are 90s production. They are the second to last revision back, the ones with the black release button with an inset "12"(aka "12 button" backs) and a non-spring-loaded reminder window. These have the ugly but ridiculously useful Lindahl aftermarket darkslide holders attached to the back. If you really want, these can be removed with solvent/heat, although I left them because they do serve a purpose and Hasselblad saw fit to integrate a similar looking slide holder onto the next gen backs after these.
These backs do have some chipping on the black paint, but overall present well and look good on a black camera body(obviously they'll work on black or chrome). One does have some finish wear on the pressure plate.
The biggest issue is that one of the backs has the knob missing from the advance crank. The crank is there-just no knob. It's a bit slower to wind on the film without it, but has not impaired functionality for me.
I've film tested both these backs. Although I don't know a service or seal history on them, they are light tight and gave me great frame spacing-some of the best of any of my Hassy backs. The mismatched numbers just drive me crazy. Reportedly on backs this new a number mismatch hurts nothing but the price/value, but I still like them matching.
I'm at a loss as to how to price these, but I'm going to try $350 for the pair, plus shipping(should be ~$10 in the US). Feel free to shoot me an offer if you feel that's too high.
One back sold. The one missing the crank knob is still available, $160+US shipping
