For sale: a Durst Unirep - Copying Magazine/Cassette for 35mm, that can load 10 m. and 30 m. of film.
The original German manual is included (English version on internet). It can be used with an enlarger like a Durst A600 or DA900.
According to the label it is still loaded with "Ortho 6556 Type 3". I don't know how many meters are left (I didn't open it), but the counter says: "Frame No 0026" and the indicator is all white, what suggests a full cassette? When I got it the man from the lab said is was loaded.
From the manual: "Die UNIREP Kasette dient zum Reproduzieren bzw. Fotografieren beliebiger Vorlagen und flacher Gegenstände auf perforierten 35 mm Film im Format 24x36 mm bzw. 32x45 mm."
Roughly translated: "The UNIREP cassette is used for reproducing or photographing any templates and flat objects on perforated 35 mm film in format 24x36 mm or 32x45 mm."
However, the front plate says: "24x36 mm" so maybe this one is only suitable for 24x36 cm on normal 135 film?
The shutter speeds are: 1 - 1/2 - 1/4 - 1/8 - 1/13 - 1/30 seconds and a B mode. It also has a cable release socket.
I got this tool from the Biology Department form the University, when they went digital (I bought their Devere 8x10" enlarger with extras).
I have no idea how to price this tool, so me a nice offer and it's yours. I would hate to scrap such a beautiful piece of machinery but I have to make room in my darkroom.
I'm also open to trade offers, if you like (film, some nice prints, some old cameras or lenses, good book on alt-photo, ...).
BTW: if you can shat any light on this item, please do
