I’m helping a friend sell his late father’s photo equipment. Dick was an enthusiastic lifelong photographer and a great fan of Fred Picker and Zone VI, so those of you familiar with Fred will recognize some of the equipment he used to recommend in these listings. I’ll be listing the gear a little at a time as I’m able to examine, photograph, and describe it. PayPal (must have a verified address) payments will go directly to my friend, while I’ll be handling the logistics since the gear is at my house to make listing easier. This means shipments might be a day or two slower than you’d expect from me because I’ll have confirm payment for each transaction from my friend. You can help by sending me a screenshot showing your PayPal verified shipping address after you've completed the transaction, that will allow me to get the item ready for shipping sooner. Prices include shipping to addresses in the continental US unless otherwise stated. International sales aren’t out of the question, but keep in mind that the shipping cost could be surprisingly high and I will not ship internationally without insurance and tracking. Please make an offer if you think the asking price is way out of line.

This listing is for Dick's Toyo-Field 45A. When I first examined the camera it was clean and fully functional but sadly the bellows had pinholes in almost every corner. After some discussion, Tom (Dick's son) and I concluded that it would. we hoped, mean more money in Tom's pocket if we got the problem taken care of, so off it went to MAC Group in New York, Toyo's authorized US service center. In addition to replacing the bellows they cleaned, lubricated, and readjusted everything. It's clearly not a new camera (the included manual is dated 1991) and has wear marks on the metal and other signs of use, but there are no significant problems - you can count on many more years of service. This camera takes (surprise!) Toyo 110mm lens boards, not the more common Linhof boards.

The current version of this camera, the Toyo-Field 45AX, lists for $2500 at B+H. The asking price for this just-refurbished camera with new bellows is $750 shipped in the US. I'll be listing the as-new compendium lens shade and a spare ground glass separately, but of course will consider offers for the complete kit.

Good grief...beautiful. Really been on the fence recently about parting with some Hasseblad gear to pick something like this up...ughhhh....lol. Love the reference to Fred Picker! Have had a couple of phone conversations with him back in the day when he did his workshops. Great guy. Might even list a digital camera over on fleabay...see what happens and see if this is still available then. GLWS!

Thanks Steve, don't have the chase right now, wish I did very nice camera.
