For Sale FS: Taylor Hobson Cooke Anastigmat Series IIA - 10.5"/f3.5

CLA'd and mounted to a SINAR lens board by Frank Marshman 2 years ago. He was able to clean and lap the front threads so the soft focus control was a lot more functional. Lens is oxidized and does not come out of flange. Front of glass has some very light cleaning marks... but then what 100 year old lens doesn't? Rated for 5x7 and offers some room for movement, but I'm not sure how well this would cover whole plate. This lens has no part of it sticking out the behind the lensboard that would interfere with a SINAR shutter if you use one.
The Series II lenses show up frequently on the auction site, but these IIA lenses at f3.5 don't come up often. If you've always wanted one for your 4x5 or 5x7, here is your chance.

Just a note: I have this lens - it is awesome!! I use it mostly on 13x18cm (close to 5x7) (see attachment) but have tried it on 18x24cm with good results...

Thanks for the input. Whole plate is approximately 16.5x21cm. I've only ever used it on 5x7. Landscapes have a nice feel to them, but i've never used it for portraits.
