For sale is a Tachihara Whole Plate Camera, plus optionally, a 4x5 spring back and a 4x5 splitter back. The camera is in excellent condition. There are a few minor scuffs and marks on the body. The bellows are light-tight and supple. Minimum extension is ~80mm, so a 90mm lens can be used easily. Maximum extension is a whopping 480mm, letting you use many commonly available long lenses. All movements are smooth, and the locks are firm.
The camera has front and rear focusing, front tilt and rise/fall and rear tilt and swing. With the whole plate back, the weight is only 2.6 kilos.
