The image performance of the apochromatically corrected SUPER-SYMMAR HM with Multicoating consisting of 6 groups with 8 lenses meets the highest demands in large format photography. Thanks to the large image circle coverage of 356mm, the lens displacements of the SUPER-SYMMAR HM are considerably increased, so that even extreme requirements will be met for an 8x10 camera.
The lens is spotless, all shutter speeds work accurately. Glass is in pristine condition; no chips, scratches, cleaning marks, haze, fungus - nothing. Lens has a image circle of 356mm, covers 8x10 with a lots of room. Includes lens nut and both front and rear Schneider lens caps.
The Prontor shutter system allows f-stop viewing from behind the camera, auto-open to full aperture, return to pre-set aperture and a self-cocking shutter which is perfect for multiple-exposure imagery.
