The image performance of the apochromatically corrected Super-Symmar HM with Multicoating consisting of 6 groups with 8 lenses meets the highest demands in large format photography. Thanks to the large image circle coverage of 254mm, the lens displacements of the Super-Symmar HM are considerably increased, so that even extreme requirements will be met for a 5x7 camera.
The lens is spotless, all shutter speeds work accurately. Glass is in pristine condition; no chips, scratches, cleaning marks, haze, fungus - nothing. Includes lens nut and both front and rear Schneider lens caps.
The Prontor shutter system allows f-stop viewing from behind the camera, auto-open to full aperture, return to pre-set aperture and a self-cocking shutter which is perfect for multiple-exposure imagery.
