This is an Empire State 8x10 by Rochester Optical. If you are looking for a starter or a beater 8x10, this might serve you well.
Weighs 7 1/2 pounds, ground glass present and usable. Bellows with no light leaks. Max extension about 17", no extension rail. Takes 5x5 boards, one included.
Issues: I have marked the photos with 4 x's to show the known issues:
1) the leather handle on top is there but broken
2) there should be a bar over the lens board to slide down and hold the board in place. I just put a piece of tape there after I put the board in
3) One of the ground glass clips is missing
4) I think there should be an arrow-looking thing hanging on the side to show if you have the camera back vertical or not.
Other than that, this thing is usable out of the box.
I'd like to get $150 including shipping for it, but if that seems off, feel free to make an offer or a trade. It won't fit in a flat-rate priority box, so probably parcel post will be cheapest. I ship overseas, but really doubt this camera is worth the high postage involved.
Paypal is ok, but my dog prefers USPS money orders since the tellers give her treats when we deposit them. $$ to apug if sold here.
Place a board infront of the camera so it cannot see the camera and focus. Take the photo immediately when board is removed.
