For sale is a Spencer Port-Land 9-inch f/4.5 lens. This is a pretty rare lens - I sold one last year without the flange, and the earlier one was listed here back in 2011! I believe this is the second version, after which the name changed to Portland. The serial number is 25xx. The lens will cover whole plate (6 1/2 x 8 1/2). This lens is meant for portraiture and landscape, with sharpness being controlled by the aperture.
The glass is in excellent shape. The barrel has considerable pitting. The aperture ring moves smoothly, and there are about a million blades to keep the aperture as round as possible. The flange is present, but no caps. I will ensure that the lens is well-protected during shipping.
If you are buying from me for the first time, please give me your full name, Paypal email, verified street address and phone number and I will send you an invoice. If you would like to use TransferWise, please give me this information, and I will send you an invoice and instructions for making the transfer.
Thanks for looking,
Kumar
