Up for sale is a nice projection petzval, about a 150mm f4. Focus is smooth on wheel, aperture is unmarked but works well. Undoubtedly you will be shooting this wide open and it does exhibit very nice bokeh when I tested it on my Toyo. It covers 4X5 with movement easily, maybe more but 4X5 is the largest I have at the moment so I couldn't say for sure but I think 5X7 too. Portrait distances were achieved at about 200mm of bellows draw.
I have mounted this in an Ilex #3 with accurate shutter speeds, this is a bit of a unique shutter as it does not have an aperture, but you would not use the aperture on the shutter anyway since the lens has one and it is positioned correctly in the lens. The lens was mounted in a threaded ring that screws into the front of the shutter. I modified the ring to allow the petzval to mount securely by pressure in the ring and then secured it with two part epoxy to insure no movement.
The glass is very clean on the front element but the rear element has a few scratches as it protrudes out past the rim of the lens and someone in the past has set it down on a surface. I do not think these scratches will affect images as they did not on the GG under loupe magnification but they are there and shown in one of the photos.

The shutter its self is in EX condition and looks hardly used. It does have a socket for a cable release and is self cocking like a press shutter.
