I need some money to pay bills, so I'm selling my Sigma 16mm f2.8 Fisheye. This is a manual focus fullframe fisheye that fits Nikon cameras. It is an AiS lens, but also has the prong for older cameras, and I have used it on Nikon digital SLRs as well.

This is the "Filtermatic" model, which comes apart with a bayonet mount to remove the front element groups to access a small screw-in filter inside. It comes with the standard clear filter, and you can buy other filters to use instead. This lets you use filters on a fisheye, which is not possible with most!

The lens is in good mechanical condition. There's some dust inside the glass. It comes with the original Sigma front cap and a generic rear cap.

Free Priority Mail shipping in USA.

An examples of photos using this lens?

I haven't used it in 9 years. The fisheye look just didn't work for the work I do. Here are a couple I have online from it:

My son, his mother, and the cat who liked watching people bathe. My son was 3 years old in this photo, he is 17 now!

Postmaster of the tiny town of Ora, Indiana in 2005. I used the fisheye because the widest rectilinear lens I owned at the time wasn't wide enough. The post office was so small that there was only about 3 feet from me to the window! I removed the fisheye distortion in Photoshop.

I have the auto-focus version of this lens. Don't let the fact one for sale is a manual focus. DOF is so large that at f/8, basically everything is in DOF.
