For sale are two Schneider Xenar lenses. These lenses share a common flange and lens board.
The first one is a 24cm f/3.5 lens. The lens has some wiping marks, but is free of any other issues. The iris diaphragm moves smoothly and like other lenses of this vintage has many blades that results in an almost round aperture. The lens covers 5x7 easily and may cover 8x10 for portraits. The fast aperture makes it a very good choice for wet plates.
The second lens is a 30cm f/4.5 lens. The glass is clean, but there is some dust. The iris diaphragm moves smoothly and like other lenses of this vintage has many blades that results in an almost round aperture. The lens covers 8x10 easily, and possibly 10x12 at portrait distances.
For both lenses I have an optional Shanel 5A shutter in excellent working condition. This shutter was made specially for barrel lenses and has only a speed mechanism from 1s to 1/100s + B. The shutter comes with a cup-shaped adapter ring to mount both lenses properly. The flange is included.
Photos:
Price: 45,000 JPY / ~423 USD for both lenses and the flange and board. The Shanel shutter is 18,000 JPY / ~171 USD, and the adapter ring is 9,000 JPY / ~87 USD. Buy both lenses, the flange and board and the Shutter with the adapter for 63,000 JPY / ~587 USD. All prices include shipping. Payment is in Japanese Yen, payable via Paypal invoice or bank transfer through TransferWise.
If you are buying from me for the first time, please give me your full name, Paypal email, verified street address and phone number and I will send you an invoice. If you would like to use TransferWise, please give me this information, and I will send you an invoice and instructions for making the transfer.
Thanks for looking,
