For Sale FS - Ross 5 inch f 4 wide angle lens for 5 X 7

Hi Fellow large fomat shooters..

on offer is a 5 inch wide angle Ross London Xpres f4 lens (serial #149353) in very good condition - the elements are in perfect condition, with no scratches or haze (although there are a couple of bubbles in one of the elements - if you were a Leica shooter you would apparently rate the lens more highly because of the bubbles...or so 've been told )

It's diaphragm (I counted 16 blades) produces a pretty much perectly round opening at any aperture. From my basic testing (mounting the lens on the front of my Bourke & James 5 X 7 view) it will cover a 5 X 7 negative. I was going to use this on my B & J 5 X7 camera, but as the bellows are in need of replacement I've decided to leave the camera on the shelf and shoot 5X4 instead..

This is a very nice lens, and looks to produce sharp results. It comes complete with mounting flange (no shutter - sorry).

I'd like $100 AUS for it - plus postage..and 5% donation to APUG
