I am resubmitting the ad for my Rolleiflex Automat because the lighting on my original ad was terrible. These are a bit better, although I can't seem to control the order of the photos.
Needing to have clas on other cameras done, I have reluctantly decided the sell my Rolleiflex Automat K4 with a Zeiss-Opton 75mm 3.5 Tessar lens that I purchased from a fellow Apuger last year.
The serial number is 1133489, the serial number for the Tessar lens is 529305. The shutter speeds sound accurate, although 1/2 sec. sounds more like 1 second, and 1 second sounds more like 2 seconds.
The camera is solid and functional. Cosmetically it isn't perfect, the chrome is dull, and there is some paint loss on the panel above the Rolleiflex logo. It's a reliable performer that's meant to be used, not wasted on a shelf. The leatherette was replaced just before I purchased it. The self timer works.
The Tessar lens performs exceptionally well despite some minor dust and a little discoloration of the lens coating on the front lens element (see photo 3).
I flocked the lens/film chamber to maximize reduction of flare.
Included is an original Rollei lens cap.
