Every now and then I put this up for sale. Everyone wants one but doesn't have the money. So here we go again. Bought this at Queen St Camera 30 years ago in Toronto. Have used it and loved it and maintained it well. Some rub marks, glass is pristine, seals are okay (will include seal kit I haven't installed), meter does not work ( i never used it anyways). When the Canadian Distributor's service guy, Dieter retired, I had him CLA it and add the last two parts they had, new bellows and new rangefinder. Camera works great and the images are beyond sharp. I just have too many cameras and not shooting much medium format film these days. It has a UV filter always protecting it, the factory lens hood and cap AND the optional hand grip. I will not sell the handgrip separately....whole kit is $1800CDN incl shipping in north america/insurance/ paypal is fine.

I have some great MF cameras but still wish I could someday add one of these to my collection. Budget will not allow right now unfortunately. Best of luck on the sale. This seems a great chance for a terrific one.

Drool... Oh I wish... Maybe someday. Beautiful camera... That grip looks perfect.

I know everyone loves this camera.... I know many want this camera... I know most can't afford it...
However, at $1700, is there anyone out there who is interested????

Time for a bump....... anyone out there ..... great camera..... maybe $1650CDN

Time for a friendly reminder..... I should probably put it on the big auction site.... anyone out there interested???

Listen to David and avoid his regrets..... grab this one before it is gone.

I made him an offer last week...... a bit low but was 4 digits left of the "."

This is probably one of the best medium format folding cameras ever.

You fans of the Plaubel best be quiet or I will take this off the for sale section... LOL..... It really is an amazing wee camera. I am looking at a 16x20 colour print from a trip to Burano, near Venice and it is sharp, beautiful tones and so easy to use on a light tripod. Or a walk around camera for street shooting. Should I .... shouldn't I??????? I have way too many cameras but maybe I will sell the Mamiya RZ67 system with 5 lenses for about the same money. We shall see.

LOL - I actually bought a mamiya 6, after hearing that it was sharper than the Makina. But Nope, it did not have the feel of the Makina Plaubel 67 (and the copy I received was also not perfect), so I returned that and did not bother looking for another.

Hard to beat the Plaubel... it still hasn't sold for $1650 which is so sad.... it means I can keep using it until someone needs it. Perhaps I will take it to France for a holiday next month.
I do not want to sell the grip and I won't let it go for $1250 as one chap offered. It is worth far more.

Any object is worth what somebody will pay for it right now.

Shall I take the plaubel to France for a holiday.... or a hasselblad 501C?????? Decisions..... or will someone buy it?

I have been watching this thread as I have one that from time to time I think about selling, but really didn't know how much to ask. It has been my favorite and it is a terrific camera.
