I'm putting out feelers for my Phototherm SSK-8R which has been partly reconditioned by me. I am upgrading to Jobo ATL equipment.

This SSK-8R has a new load pump, the flow sensor has been cut off (this is good because they fail and are only useful for an add on that according to Jerry at Phototherm, almost nobody bought), and has new solenoid seals for the chemical save pumps. It works better than when I got it! It has been used a lot however and the casing reflects that. I will do my best to remove some staining but since it's seen a lot of C41, E6, and B&W, it comes with the territory.

It also includes 2 8x tanks and 1 4x tank. These tanks have no issues with the temp sensor. Some of the clasps that hold them shut are missing but this does not effect their performance unless you want to start prying the drum open when it's full for some reason. The housings show some signs of use but it's just cosmetic.

2 4x5 holders, the drying accessory tube, the 'donut', probably around 30 reels (a mix of Patterson and Arista Premiums), the fill tank, and a dump tank. I can give you my chemical bottles but these are not custom from Phototherm and I strongly suggest you use your own system, same with the tubing. I also have various brushes for cleaning and maintenance, the instructions and a few printed out docs for fixes and calibration.

This thing has been a serious workhorse for my lab. What's even better is that Jerry formerly of Phototherm still supports them independently and sells some parts. Other parts are available off the shelf! I purchased the replacement pump, and it took only a few minutes to install it. The ultra basic software and interface offer a lot of options, and you can crank through rolls by the dozen. Doubling up 120 on the reels means you can do 10x rolls in the 8x tank, and 4x in the 4x tank. However with 35mm it's still 8 & 4. The 4x5 reels are a little experimental but new Patterson 4x5 and even 8x10 reels are worth trying, I haven't. The instructions also specifically state this machine is suited for ECN2, and that the remjet will not harm the inner working.

Give it's size, the size of the tanks, and the fragility of the inner workings I'd prefer if you could come to Bath Maine for a demonstration and take it on site. If you have questions or would like pictures let me know. It's still in use daily.

I'm asking $3,500.00
