Parting out a 4x5 Cambowide camera and accessories. Everything shows some minor wear but is in great overall condition. The bubble levels are still working great and have not dried out. The three Horseman film backs are clean, the two 6x9 backs are being sold as a pair, the 6x12 back is clean as well and a joy to shoot with.
The 100mm Symmar-S lens is priced really affordably as the lens itself has two small cracks in the inside of the rear element that you can see in the pictures. If you stop down, it might be alright but there is some fogging and internal marks that I didn’t want to risk doing more damage trying to clean off. The shutter is super solid, but the lens isn’t great. The 100mm lens is also mounted in the original Schneider focusing helical that is stamped for a 90mm lens. This would be OK if you always focused off the ground glass, but I would not trust close focus shots off the helical's index alone. This cone would be a fantastic candidate to swap a 90mm lens into.
The other thing that isn’t perfect is the finder, its sharp and clear and has a great image but something is loose on the inside, it kinda rattles when you shake it.
The 65mm lens cone has the lens guards on it and allows a lateral shift BOTH directions. The lens cone with the 100mm will only shift one direction, you need to reverse its mounting orientation if you need to shift the other direction.
