For Sale FS: Panatomic-X

I'm not 100% sure that I want to sell this, but here goes. I don't seem to be getting around to using it.

For Sale a 100 foot roll of 35mm Panatomic-X. I can't really remember where I got it or how long I've had it. At least 3 years in my freezer. The cardboard box has been opened (Prior to me having it) and expiration is 6-1982. Film can inside still looks to be factory taped and feels like film in it. Sold as-is, not guaranteed. I will wait a couple of days and if it doesn't sell I will probably lock this thread.

If anybody picks this up and it turns out OK and you're interested in defraying your costs I'd be interested in 5 or six 36 exp. cassettes of it. I would pay for the cassettes and postage to me.

If there is some interest, I might be persuaded to open it up and try a few frames to see what turns up. I am not unwilling to do so, I just haven't had time to do anything with it. I hate to see it sit in my freezer if it's still usable.

OK. Here's what I'll do. It's sitting on the dining room table in a freezer bag right now, thawing out. Tomorrow evening I will load some in a snap cap cassette and make a few test exposures. I will develop it and try to scan some of the shots and upload. That way nobody has to buy a pig in a poke. If necessary, I can load this into cassettes to sell it a bit at a time. Ill try to get all this done tomorrow and I will re-post in this thread. Kindly wait to reply until I can test this film.
