For Sale FS: Olympus 500mm f/8 SOLD

Selling off my 500mm Olympus mirror lens. I’ve owned it for five or six years and just not getting much use. There is a small ding on the shade that you can see in one of the shots. It happened the only time I reluctantly had to valet check on an Embraer, it doesn’t affect anything, the built in shade still works just fine.

The glass looks good, there is what looks like one small separation mark or coating mark in the front element in the coating. I tired to get a decent picture of it (the white spots are just dust) it looks worse in the picture then it actually is in real life.

I swore I had the leather Olympus bag but I could not find it anywhere, the lens will come is a clean Nikon soft leather drawstring bag.

$259 net plus shipping.

I'm totally confident that this is a lens for an Olympus OM film mount, but you probably want to make it clear that this is not one of the world's largest micro 4/3 lenses!

Good point, this is the version originally for the 35mm film camera but adaptable to just about any mirrorless camera. I was using it on an R5. Thanks for clarifying!

I’ve had the lens mounted to my R5 for a bit now thinking I was going to go shoot something but alas it hasn’t moved. So here are some shots made with this lens a little while back that I posted on Instagram.
