I have decided to sell this nice Olympus 35RC because I haven't been using it enough since I've been mostly shooting medium format.
The serial number is 449253. The lens is clear, the viewfinder is clean and the self-timer works. It has normal scuff marks for a camera its age and a small dent on the bottom plate but nothing that will affect performance. The meter does respond to light, but since it is calibrated for a 1.35v mercury battery, I never spent much time adjusting the ASA to compensate for a 1.5v silver oxide battery. When I did use it I mostly used a separate meter or sunny 16.
I bought a seal kit from Jon Goodman and changed the seals yesterday. You can see part of the new foam on the fourth photo. The last two photos were taken today testing the seals. Happy to say no light leaks.
It comes with a strap, a soft case with a strap, a 43.5 Skylight 1A filter and 43.5 to 46mm step up ring which I used for my 46mm black and white filters.
