Have an old bottle of Agfa Rodinal here. Glass bottle, still intact.

Liquid inside has started to crystalize, so I don't know if its good or not. I don't use Rodinal.

Yours for $20+ shipping costs worldwide(please note this will need extra room to make sure it arrives safely, and intact!)

great for your "Curio" cabinet, or for those of you who might want to experiment with OLD developers for unpredictable results!

cheers,
Dan

Is this the "old" formula as well, or just an old bottle? like how Adox advertises that they have both the old and new formula of Rodinal... thanks just curious.

I've used bottles older than this one, the liquid black as ink, and with crystals forming, still worked fine! I'm getting this for developing fun but also to add to my Rodinal bottle collection. I have 3-4 of differing types and ages. One REALLY old.

Nice! Maybe I'll use some Friday night......on the rocks, twist of orange rind, like a shot of Fernet.

I've actually got an old bottle of Rodinal that I've been wanting to try, but I can't get the damned thing open! Cap is stuck pretty tight.

Liquid is black as 11:59 and crystallizing as well. It was given to me by the pro I bought all my expired film from.

Not sure how to date it, but the bottle has ROAO168 printed on it.

Anyways, anybody know of an easy way to open stuck 'push and twist' bottles?

Just send it to me!

Here are two other older bottles I have. The glass one has yet to be opened. The white plastic one I got off eBay, was about 1/3rd used and the top was wrapped in masking tape. Was black as ink. I used it all up, worked just fine. Anyone have any clue as to about what year these were?

Just send it to me!

Sure thing! If you just send me you address, I'll go ahead an-

Hey! Wait! No! You almost got me there, buddy!

*waggles finger* Shame on you! Trying to trick me to give away my Rodinal!

Just got the bottle Dan sold me above. Safe and sound. Will crack it open tonight.

That glass bottle of Rodinal is a beauty!

the one dan sent me and my old are both nice! I should get out the LF camera this weekend and do B&W portraits of Rodinal bottles. HA!

Concerning your photos: I assume those two bottles to be from the 50s and 80s respectively.

Anyone remember the really tiny bottles they had not long ago.
I remember my buddie having one in to early double aughts.

The looked similar to the vino bottle style Rich has above.

The old bottle is really old - I remember this kind of bottle from mid-20th century.
Also, at the bottom of the label, it says, "Fabricacion Alemana". If memory serves, Alemana is a French term for Germany. Does this mean that this bottle was packaged for and sold in France?

The French word for Germany is Allemande. I just fed the "Fabricacion Alemana" phrase into Google Translate and discovered that it's Spanish.

Had not noticed that before. If this bottle could only speak....the places it's been!
