Up for grabs is a Nikkor-P.C. 8.5cm f/2.0 Nikon rangefinder mount lens in chrome, and a chrome Nikon S rangefinder body. Lots of description below, skip to the bottom if you're short on time.
First, the lens:
Clean glass overall, no fungus, no haze, no marks on the front or rear elements. Some minor internal dust is present. Aperture blades show some light oil as shown in the photos. Focus is pretty darn smooth but not the smoothest I have ever felt. Aperture stops down smoothly. No dents/dings or other cosmetic issues. Focus matches actual distance when installed on the Nikon S body, but given the shutter's condition on the S, I have not tested it. Looking through it, everything seems on the up and up. Attaches to the body smoothly. Includes an unmarked but very well machined filter step up ring. No caps, unfortunately.
The S rangefinder body:
Body is engraved with a name (neatly done along the front edge) on the top plate. Body has some Zeiss bumps and has a few edges where the leather is peeling. Shutter has many pinholes on both curtains so will need to be patched extensively or have the shutter curtains replaced. Rangefinder seems to be accurate but is untested with film due to the pinholes in the curtains. Focus is not entirely smooth throughout the travel so will probably need to be disassembled and cleaned out fully. Rangefinder is mis-aligned vertically by a significant amount. Viewfinder is reasonably clear and free from any major scratches but does have a light haze as is typical of this era rangefinders (nothing super heavy but will need to be cleaned out before becoming a good daily user, if that is your desired state). Winds on smoothly, slow speeds are slooooooooow and sometimes stick.
Prices:
$250 for the lens plus shipping
$100 for the body plus shipping
