Battery compartment: Some corrosion but was cleaned out.

Focus: Functional.
Tested with film: no

Lens:
Glass: Clear and Clean. No scratches, haze, fungus.
Barrel: Excellent
Focus: Working.

These are really great cameras if you can deal with the flash system.
