I'm selling my Nikon F4s, which I bought new way back in 1994, when I was a senior in high school.
It has the original box, instructions, and body cap. I'm also including the MC-12A Electronic cable release, an SB-25 flash, which I bought at the same time as the camera, and a 50mm f1.4 AF-Nikkor that was also purchased new with the camera. I also have two extra focusing screens that will be included!
The camera: It still has most of its matte-finish on the surface, but does have a lot of scratches and marks in the plastic. Everything functions perfectly except for one thing: When set on single-frame film advance, it sometimes fires as though it were in continuous mode if you hold the shutter release down. This happens about once every roll of film if I'm not careful. All the other advance modes work as they should. Its probably a dirty contact but I never bothered to have it taken apart and fixed.
Everything else on the camera works flawlessly. Meter and AF are accurate.
The Flash: Nikon SB-25, works flawlessly. I also have an NC-17 Sync Cord for the flash that I'll include. Flash sells for about $50 on ebay, without the sync cord, which I'm including.
The Lens: 50mm f1.4 AF-Nikkor. Glass is free of scratches, haze, and fungus. It does have a big dust particle inside that was there when I bought the lens new 20 years ago. It didn't affect image quality, so I kept the lens. Aperture works flawlessly, no oil on the blades. KEH sells this in BGN condition for $182
Focusing Screens:
B-type. The standard one that came with the camera. Has AF box in the middle and circles for spotmetering and centerweighted metering.
U-Type. Has matte screen with microprisms in the center. My favorite for manual focus. Sells for about $45 on ebay.
K-Type: The rare and much sought-after matte screen with split-image and microprisms. People on Ebay are demanding nearly $200 for the screen alone!
I'd like to sell all of this together. $399 including shipping in the US.
