This is the classic Nikkor 105mm 2.5 telephoto rangefinder lens in Contax RF mount. Sonnar lens design is optically identical to the regular Nikon RF and Leica LTM versions, but the mount is specifically for Contax rangefinders. This will mount on a Nikon RF, but your focus will be off. This is the 2nd type (approx 1957), without attachment pins for the lens hood. Includes front/rear lens caps and HS-10 clip-on lens hood.
Mechanical condition is excellent, focus and aperture rings are smooth and damped. Aperture blades open and close smoothly. The lens mounts easily and securely to my Contax IIA. Glass is very clean, no haze or fungus. There are a few dust specks internally and some light marks on the rear element coating, but nothing that would affect image quality.
Externally, some minor paint loss and scuffs from normal use. Some marks in the chrome on the "nose" of the lens, but no significant scratches and no dents or dings of any type. Lens is about 530g, solid, and the pinnacle of Nikon lens quality.
Asking $155.00, which includes USPS shipping anywhere in the U.S.. International shipping will be more. PayPal payment preferred.
