First time I learn of a stainless steel Minox reel. Interesting.

(Stainless reels in general are uncommon here, to say the least. So far I have not come across any....)

Nikor Products made stainless steel reels in a wide range of sizes. Minox (11mm), 16mm, 135 (20 and 36 exposure), 127, 120/620, 220, 116/616, 118, and 122.

Stainless steel reels are great! Tried plastic but find that they jam if not bone dry. Minox developing tank a work of genius, but can only do one strip of film at a time. With these additions, I can do three at a time. Steel reels also made for 16mm Minolta 16 film.

Are you saying that steel reels are not used for 35mm and 120 in Germany? What are most popular? Jobo? Patersen?

I have only seen in the wild Jobo tanks and reels, a few really old twist-stick tanks, some Agfa daylight-loading tanks and one Photax tank, and very few Minox tanks.

It's easy to make yourself reel for 8 or 16 mm film, just cannibalise any plastic reel.
Krokus works well to me, no jams.
