For Sale FS: Minoltaflex II TLR Camera

Overall good example. Has some spots where the leatherette is pulling up. Has some signs of wear. Has haze on one internal element in the taking lens (I opened the lens up and cleaned all of the surfaces, it is etched). I've shot a roll to confirm operation but have been too busy with calculus homework to get it developed much less printed out. Shutter sounds good. Lots of blades on the aperture. Has "Made in Occupied Japan" stamped into the top rail.

If somebody is really interested in seeing results before purchase (completely understandable), I'll go buy a few espresso shots and get it developed and scanned and post the results.

i was tempted to ask if you want to swap that primo for this, then remembered I already have one of these...but, wow, what did you take these pictures of the Minolta with? Really nice.

i got mine from a local guy who bought it in Korea at a PX. Still has the guarantee certificate with it (sept. 9, 1951). Imagine the pictures these cameras have seen...

summicron1- Shot this camera with a Canon 40D with an M42 adapter plus an Auto Chinon 55mm f/1.4 lens at f/1.4. It seems to have a very fast transition from sharp to unsharp hence the blur effects on the Minolta nameplate, the closest thing I have seen to this lens is an 8-element Super Takumar 50mm f/1.4 WRT the focus transition. Thank you!
