This handsome Sony a77 camera was converted by LifePixel to 830nm.
The conversion was perfectly done and offers up amazing results, leading to my current digital IR addiction.
The a77 punches above its weight class in image quality and ergonomics. Though still relatively compact, it handles like a Contax SLR. It feels good in the hand and all the controls are well-placed and accessible.
Images are clear and sharp, it's an APS-C 24MP sensor, and the camera has every feature you'd need.
All of the functions you'd need on a camera are right there, on the camera. No need to bury yourself in endless menus.
Condition is good, there are quite a few tiny marks on the body and screen, but they're small enough so as not to matter. Everything works 100% perfectly.
The 16-50mm lens is very sharp, and for this application, produces no hot spots at f/11 or larger (including f/2.8). The hood is 3rd-party, it's not the real hood, so it causes a tiny vignette in the corners. Glass is clean, looks new. Barrel in excellent condition.
Anyway, the really cool thing here is the IR conversion, which also allows use of live view, auto-focus, auto-exposure and video. In short, the camera works normally, it just produces black and white infrared images.
Although I only got this camera recently, I'm letting it go in favor of another camera that was converted to 950nm. Yes, I have a problem, I know.
Here's an example taken with the a77 yesterday on a slightly overcast afternoon:
