This lens is in essentially new condition. It is well suited to portraiture when you are on location with busy backgrounds. The central 2/3rds is very sharp, and then the outer 1/3rd of the background rapidly swirls creating a unique effect. The sharp central area varies with aperture, and by f8 it's virtually gone except for the extreme outer edges. I found this lens sharper centrally than the Nikon 58/1.4 G lens from f2.8 on, and of course the background swirly blur added more separation. It's also tiny and light (and cheap) by comparison, and thus easy to have in the bag for when you want the effect. Includes lens, both front and caps and box.
