In order to finance further ventures into LF, my RF kit has to go.
Leitz Canada 35mm Summicron (f/2) M-mount
I believe this is a V3 from about 1973.
It was CLA'd by Will van Manen a few years ago, but I cannot find the receipt to prove it.
This is not a collector's lens - it is a lens for making pictures with. Buy it, put it on your camera (or my camera, if you buy the R2A) and make pictures with it.
The main body of the lens is clean and bears only the most minor cosmetic marks. The front cap as you can see is a bit battered, and the hood has sustained a clout. Nevertheless, everything works as intended. It has a Leitz storage "bubble". I suspect that lens, cap, hood and bubble all started life apart but came together to form the nice little family you see in the pictures today.
The focus is smooth throughout its range, and the aperture clicks nicely into place at each stop.
If you shine a zillion candela LED torch through the lens, you will see dust and a bit of haze, but few used lenses would pass this test.
Sold prices for this particular version of the 35mm Summicron seem a bit variable on eBay, but I think a reasonable price for this lens is £800
Price includes shipping within the UK and PayPal fees.
I will consider shipping within the EU but at additional cost, which may prove to be prohibitive.
US/RoW - you can ask, but again tracked and insured shipping may be prohibitive to potential buyers.
I have 100% +ve feedback at eBay (username paitch177) as both buyer and seller. I would prefer to sell to a UK APUG user, but I reserve the right to refuse an offer to buy from a user with no significant posting history here.
