FS: Leitz Summicron-M 35mm lens
This is a Leitz Canada 35mm Summicron (f/2) M-mount, and I believe it to be a V3 from about 1973.
I have had this lens cleaned since I last listed it on APUG.
No haze, still a bit of dust, nothing to affect the image in my experience, but this is a shooter's lens not a collector's piece.
The main body of the lens is clean and bears only the most minor cosmetic marks. The front cap as you can see is well marked, and the hood has sustained a clout. Nevertheless, everything works as intended. It has a Leitz storage "bubble". I suspect that lens, cap, hood and bubble all started life apart but came together to form the nice little family you see in the pictures today. The focus is smooth throughout its range, and the aperture clicks nicely into place at each stop.
Sold prices for this particular version of the 35mm Summicron seem a bit variable on eBay, but I think a reasonable price for this lens is £775
Price includes shipping within the UK and PayPal fees.
If you pay by personal cheque drawn on a UK bank, or by instant bank transfer, you get a £25 discount, so net price in that case would be £750.
PayPal ONLY for international sales.
I will consider shipping within the EU but the additional cost of international tracked/insured may prove to be prohibitive - it will be in the region of £80 to DE for example.
Please don't ask if I'll ship to the US - that'll cost close to £90 on top of the price given above and you'd probably do better at KEH.
I have 100% +ve feedback at eBay as both buyer and seller. I would prefer to sell to a UK APUG user, but I reserve the right to refuse an offer to buy from a user with no significant posting history here.
