Cleaning the closet!
I bought this on RFF about 3 years ago. At that time I was in love with the 50mm
It has sat in the drawer for at least a year without use. It is time to go!
It is not a user lens but not perfect either. Some wear marks on the chrome but the glass is very clear. I saw one very slight cleaning mark on the ft element but that was only when I was cleaning it for these photos; never before have I noticed it. Butter smooth focus and crisp f stops. A very nice example but again, not perfect and not for a serious collector.
Includes the correct leica lens hood for the vintage. Hood shows wear and mild paint loss on the edges. Hood attatches correctly.
Rear cap non leica included, late model leica ft cap included
On the evil bay it seems most very nice examples such as this go for $900-$1300 without hood. I would like to see this go to a good home for $950 including hood.
