IIIc in good condition. I bought the camera from a user on RFF about 9 months ago. I have aging eyes and have difficulty using manual cameras with tiny engraved numbers. I am generally selling my mechanical cameras in favor of cameras with information in the viewfinder that I can see without reading glasses.
The rangefinder is clear, well aligned and very accurate - I have some of the best focused shots from this camera compared to my other cameras. The camera works well, winds on smoothly and operates quietly. The take up spool is included. There are minor rubs on the bottom plate and two small rubs from sliding accessories into the cold shoe (see area just above S/N). Otherwise, the camera is in beautiful condition. I have not had the camera CLA'd. The shutter curtains are in good shape, with no holes or apparent deterioration, and move evenly during wining. The shutter works at all speeds and appears to be appropriate - slower speeds appear to be twice as long as the previous speed, etc. Using a phone based shutter testing app, I found the shutter to be accurate over the range of 1/10 to 1/125. I cannot test for speeds faster than 1/125 second, but the camera gave good exposures on B&W print film in my usage.
The camera has been "converted" to flash use and includes the sychronization dial and the flash socket. I verified the camera will fire an electronic flash (speed dial on 1/60 with synchronization dial on 20 setting).
I am looking to clear $275 (i.e., shipping, insurance and fees are on you). You can pay with PayPal or other electronic means as long as I clear $275. I will ship via USPS flat rate box (about $12.65) and insure if you wish (flat rate box only good to $100 without adding insurance).
