I bought this as a fixer-upper, and my goal with it was to make it a reliable working camera. Done.
It's an excellent tool, works well, but there's still lots of room to do further modifications if you want.
Otherwise, take it out and shoot, it's ready for 8x10 and 4x5 work.
You could also strip the finish, and re-apply finish, and it would clean up nicely. But most of the cleaning, de-gumming, adjustment and lubricating is done.
Several original screws were replaced by common modern screws, and some repairs were needed to the wood in the 8x10 back to make it both functional and light-tight.
Here's a run-down:
Extension rail is in good working order, and there's even a Technika adapter (home-made)!
Everything I've shot for the last 10 months has been on this camera, and it works great, as long as you are aware of, and know how to handle, its quirks.

- bellows are patched, but light-tight even at full extension or full rise
- both standards have some play, but they line up parallel and most importantly, they provide razor-sharp images
- focusing rail is jumpy in spots, but works well
- front rise locks by pushing in the left-hand side brass knob, and stays in place
- the 8x10 back is easy to attach, a little more difficult to remove
