FS: Kelty Redwing Large Backpack with Pelican Padded Dividers
This is a 2nd generation Kelty Backpack in the large size with a padded Pelican divider insert. The Kelty Redwing is a GREAT backpack for carrying photo gear, up to, and including a large format system. I used a 1st generation Kelty Redwing for many years, but the 2nd generation is much better. The 2nd generation has a much better, more comfortable suspension, sturdier zippers and came in much less visually jarring colors. I also prefer the 2nd generation Redwing over the current models. The 2nd generation body was much more rectangular, which makes it great for a drop on padded divider tray. The current models are all curved and contoured to make them look sleek, which is handy for soft goods like clothes and sleeping bags, but not so good for rigid goods, like camera gear.
In any case, this is a used bag, but still in very nice shape. I used it for hiking with complete 4x5 system, and on occasion, also a Bronica GS-1 medium format kit. It's a sturdy, comfortable pack capable of easily carrying a heavy load, but small enough to fit in an airline overhead compartment.
Here's some photos:
