I bought this JOBO about 4 years ago from a hobbyist who bought it new and used it a handful of times. It was virtually new. I use it about every 3-4 months when I accumulate enough rolls or sheet to warrant a day of developing. That’s a total of about 20 days of operation in all. As Bob Carnie will attest, the main issue with these machines is the number of lift actuations. Once the lift reaches its max it dies. These were designed to work all day everyday for years with minimal maintenance. This one is a baby as far as use goes. It works perfectly and looks amazingly clean. I run two complete cleaning cycles, and a third of my customized “deep clean” cycle, after every day of development. It’s very clean.

As you know, this is a fully automatic, microprocessor-controlled unit that is completely customizable. You pick, or create, a program, fill the chemical bottles, and press start. When it beeps it’s done! It’s very efficient with chemical use because the drums/tanks use little chemistry and it reclaims chemistry in the lower front reclamation bottles. It can run just about every know process. I’ve used it for B&W (RC and FB), C-41, RA-4, and E-6. I used it successfully with fiber paper including two fixer steps as well as selenium toning. The only thing I did outside the JOBO was the final wash. It accepts all the JOBO tanks/drums including the expert drums.

I’ve owned and used many JOBO processors (CPE-2, CPA-2, CPP-2, ATL1000, ATL2+, ATL3). All the ATLs eventually died because they were used in a commercial setting and I got them at the end of their serviceable life. This one has many more years of use. I will include:

3 x 2840 JOBO drums with cog lid, for prints up to 11x14
1 x 3062 JOBO Expert Drum for paper or ULF film, I used it successfully with 8x10 sheet film.
1 x 2553 JOBO Multitank, can handle up to 3 120 rolls, 5 35mm rolls, or 2 2509n 4x5 sheet film reels
1 x 2820 JOBO Testdrum, can handle test strips, 1 120 rolls, 2 35mm rolls, or 1 2509n 4x5 sheet film reel

1 x 2509n, 4x5 sheet film real
3 x 2502, roll film reel
1 x loader base for 2509n reels

I also have a bag full of spare parts. I have 16x20 and 20x24 drums for sale in separate adds. We could negotiate adding these in as well.

I’m asking $2200 US net to me for this thing, but will consider reasonable offers. I will not ship this, but I will drive for about 2 hours from Montreal (about 100 miles) to deliver, or meet somewhere, if the buyer pays the gas. PM or email (luigi@luigipasto.com) for info or more pictures.

Wow. What a beautiful kit. Shouldn't have any problem selling this I reckon.

I forgot to add that I'll include a Powers Model 2 temperature control panel as well as a Unicolor 2 litre powder C-41 kit.

FYI, just found that a JOBO ATL 2000 sold on that market place a few weeks ago for $2000. The listing says free shipping, but the description clearly indicates freight charges apply. This was a beat up machine. I know because I've had some that looked like this one. This makes my asking price not so crazy after all  (this is a reply to PMs).
