For sale is my Hasselblad 120mm F5.6 S-Planar with T* coatings in black. I am selling it because I have standardized on all Bay60 filter sized lenses at this stage.
This lens is in great condition and works perfectly since it was serviced in 2013 by David Odess and therefore has a new main spring, cocking ring spring, diaphragm blade ring and flash contact. It comes with both caps, a shade and a Bay50 to Bay60 adapter. I have included the invoice for the work for verification.
The condition in detail is excellent optically with only a bit of internal dust, no scratches or marks and very sharp. Cosmetically there is a bit of lens shade wear around the front bayonet but none on the lens mount end and only a bit to speak of on the barrel it self. Operationally it is like new and ought to be due to what was basically a $344 overhaul, smooth focus, perfect speeds. I make it a point to exercise all my mechanical shutter lenses at least 4 times a year about 5 times in each speed setting so this has been kept in really good shape.
I have used this lens on standard V bodies especially the Flexbody where total control of depth of field can be had. The fact it is 5.6 actually helps the case for more depth of field because unlike the 120mm F4, it stops down to F45 so you can work at F22-32 and still be tack sharp.
At this stage, I really want to work with buyers in the US to avoid the drama with overseas shipping and scammers at the moment. Given the fact this lens has been completely overhauled, I would like to get $500 all in via PayPal goods and services and that will include insured shipping.
