I think this lens clearly served a long and distinguished career in a studio. Which means the body is super scuffed up, but the glass is quite good and the shutter was regularly serviced. I went on a shutter testing spree a few months ago and tested every lens I had and was shocked to find that this one was the most accurate mechanically shuttered lens I own. Every speed is within half a stop of being on the money including 1/500 and 1s. The glass is very clear and even passes the flashlight test except for some minor flaws on the front element.
The flaw that lowers the price:

The flaw that lowers the price:
- There are a few minuscule scratches on the front element, about 1mm. Obviously has no effect on image quality but lowers resale value.
