FS: Gitzo Tripod with Manfrotto 438 Leveler, Manfrotto 410 Geared Head. Head is NEW. All in excellent working condition. I do not know the model number for the tripod legs (a Mountaineer, perhaps?); I have had the legs for a very long time and I always used it indoors - shows minor signs of use. This Tripod/Head combination will easily handle from 35mm cameras up to 5x7 cameras. Comes with:

  1. Gitzo Tripod Legs (48 inches fully extended) with extendable Center Column (an additional 4 inches; NOTE: a second center column piece was removed and has been lost).
  2. Manfrotto 438 Leveler
  3. Manfrotto 410 Geared Head with Quick Release Plate (NEW) - Load Capacity is 11 Lbs. -
  4. Spare Quick Release Plate with 1/4-20 and 3/4-20 Screws (NEW)
  5. Tripod Padded Bag with Strap (newish).
$250.00 plush shipping from zip code 10065

FWIW, it is a performance model so the legs can be spread for low angle photos.

Even for light format studio work, a Gitzo performance tripod like this is a real help for low or odd angle, such as when using a ladder or shooting from a loft or platform with a low ceiling and sandbags can help keep it in place.

Good Luck.

IMO.

Thanks guys. I would rather not sell but you know how it is.

I sure do but life is a wheel of karma and repetition, until we change wheels and I'm sure you will do well until you next decide upon a replacement or upgrade.

Cheers.
