Hi All,
I have for sale or trade a great condition Leica IIIa and 50mm Summar. The camera body dates to 1937 and the lens is of similar vintage. Body is working fine and all speeds sound correct to me but have not been professionally checked. Rangefinder works and both viewfinders are clear. Body covering is perfectly intact. There is some minor brassing as would be expected of a camera of this age. Comes with functional eveready case that has some tape repairs on it.
Lens in a good condition as well. Some brassing on the barrel from collapsing it and there are some cleaning marks and some internal dust. Nothing out of the ordinary for a lens of this age IMHO. Comes with matching Leica Cap.
I would prefer to sell as a set but will sell separately if I have committed interest in both body and lens at the same time.
These are images taken with this camera and lens. Exposure was guessed so any fault there is mine.
Asking $370 shipped in the US. Outside the US please PM for quote.
I'm am also willing to trade for a Nikon 35-70/2.8D lens If you have one and are looking to trade please PM me with what you have and what you feel it's worth and we'll go from there.
