This is somewhat of a weird lens in that it has the latest (and last) optical design for any Leica R 28mm lens, but at the same time does not yet have the ROM contacts.
Optically and mechanically the lens is excellent/outstanding.

I have only ever used this lens with an adapter on an EOS 1N. It's the best 28mm I have ever used, besting even my 28mm for Contax G. Sharpness and contrast are beautiful. Lots more info/opinions to be found on the web.
I want to free some money towards zooming L-glass, hence the sale.
Asking price: 900 Euros, or best offer.
Payment: Paypal as gift or bank transfer.
I am willing to ship to the entire planet, but a sale within the EU is preferred (no customs hassles in case of a return). Shipping cost may be high to some areas outside the EU. I also highly prefer to sell to members (subscribers!) with a proper posting history.

Included in this sale are:
- the lens,
- front and rear caps,
- box and leather pouch.
The sliding hood is obviously there as well. NOT included are a protective filter and a Leica-to-EOS adapter.
