I cannot believe how little this stuff is worth, but I checked, and my own experience buying, means I'd be a complete idiot to ask more than $675 for this whole complete amazing package, plus film, shipping included in the entire US.

$675 lousy bucks. A Hassy system, no less capable of making amazing images, goes easily for three times as much with fewer lenses. But what can I say? That's the market, I don't use it, it sits, I'd rather play with my Leicas, or my Rolleis, or my Minox. The stereo cameras and 4 by 5s look at me and scream "HEY!"

This system seemed like a good idea at the time, but it needs someone who wants to carry it around and use it enough to make it perform as it certainly can. Apparently, I am not that person.

ADDED BONUS: If you buy this amazing camera package I will include, FREE, a pro-pack (5 rolls) of Fresh DAted When Purchased, Out Of The Freezer Fuji Acros--the world's finest film. Seriously good stuff. Packages don't get more complete, unless you want me to come push the shutter.

So, out it goes:

Mamiya 1000s body -- Really nice shape, no visible wear, no dings, no dents, no nothing. It was, as I recall, an "EXC" when I bought it from KEH a year ago. All shutter speeds sound good, includes a pretty new battery and 120 film insert. The S in the name means it has a self-timer, which works as it should. Light seals in the film chamber are recently changed and tight.

45mm 2.8 N Mamiya-Sekor C lens -- really lovely, a bit of wear on the corners, but hardly noticeable. Optics on this and all other lenses are just as clear and unscratched as the day they left the factory.

80 mm 2.8 Mamiya-Sekor C lens. Optics clear and clean. This is the only lens with any issues -- there is a bit of oil on the diaphragm blades so it is a titch slow to open up after you take a picture. It snaps down very smartly to take pictures, however, so this is not a problem.

150 mm 3.5 Mamiya-Sekor C lens -- Absolutely lovely, hardly any signs of use. Optics all clear and clean.

210 mm F4 Mamiya-Sekor C lens -- Hardly any signs of use. Clear and clean optics.

Handle (not shown) made by Mamiya that you mount the camera on when shooting.

Waist Level finder and non-metered eye-level finder.

Several replacement screens for the finder, focusing handle for the lenses. Spare 120 film insert with light-tight storage box. Also included are UV filters and I think I have a polarizer for one of these lenses. Front and rear lens caps all over the place. Mamiya-brand original camera strap. A brochure that talks all about the system. Lens shades. Whole bunch of stuff.

All yours for a measly $675, which includes shipping. I know how to pack this sort of thing, do not worry.

So, first paypal to

summicron12000@yahoo.com

gets it all. OR, should you be near Ogden, Utah, come pick it up, I'll knock $50 for shipping off AND buy you lunch and beer at Rooster's downtown AND tell you some cool Ogden crime/ghost/lynching stories.

Deal? That's also my email. Let me know.

I don't live near you but sure would like to hear a good ghost story. Bob.
Ogden's Union Station (http://www.theunionstation.org) where I volunteer has several in residence, possibly from the trunk murders that were discovered there back in the day. The other day I was in the director's office and she pointed to a picture on the wall that is crooked.

Ever day she straightens it, she said, and every morning when she comes in it is crooked. No, we don't have nightly earthquakes.

The beer at Rooster's is very excellent -- Ogden would be worth the trip.

Bumping, lowering price. How good a deal does this have to be?

I could use a lens for my M645...but then again I spent most of my money on film so I've only got the 80 2.8 which is still an amazing lens.

I got some Homebrew to trade tho...

so buy this and throw away what you don't need. Everyone needs a spare body!

Back in the heady days of Shanghai GP3 I would have given this a thought. I do hope someone bites though, this is a really sweet setup.
