Short history - I got this recently to add to my collection of 4x5's, I now need to sell this to cover another purchase I just made. When I received it the factory wood handles were damaged in shipping. So, I made new ones and added wood to the bottom. There are now Arca quick release plates on both the bottom wood section, and the left handle so the camera can take vertical shots while mounted on a tripod. I have shot a few sheets of film and have had no problems using the camera.
