For sale is an Exakta Varex VX 35mm camera in great condition. It comes with a Westanar 50mm lens, alternate prism finder with leather case, and a black every-ready case. It has been cleaned and restored by myself, and I replaced the decaying original leather with black real lizard skin from cameraleather.com.
It has been tested on all shutter speeds and they sound accurate by ear. The viewfinder prism with lizard skin on it has a two scratches and dust (see photo), but it still focuses well. believe it is an easy replacement with a new fresnel/ground glass on the bottom of the viewfinder. The second prism seems to be a little blurry. I I love this camera and viewed it as a restoration project, but can not justify keeping it. This camera is in great condition for being nearly 70 years old. Let me know if you have any other questions.
