Hi Ginette
I'm in the Montreal area too. Thanks for the pictures. Have you used the 45MCRX - is it aligned?
Thanks
Lamp is PH212 150w 10$ each. I don't have, not the same as my 23CIIBeseler has a naming scheme for most of their enlargers which describes the features of the machine. E.g. a 45MXC is a 4x5 enlarger chassis with a motorized colorhead and extra support truss.
•Two-digit number — the max size of the negative it can accept (e.g. 23 is 2cm x 3cm, 66 is 6cm x 6cm, 45 is 4x5 inches, etc.)
•M — electric motor to raise and lower the lamphouse
•C — Beseler colorhead (filter drawer type)
•R — Resistrol unit (variable voltage regulator)
•X — Rear support truss (extra reinforcement)
•AF — Automatic focus
•B — Beslite (flourescent cold-light head)
•AG — Beseler-Agra colorhead (continuously variable filter type)
The Durst 138 is still available. This is the older model with manual foot, fixed triple turret and wood baseboard.
In really good esthetic and mechanical condition: 300$ (CAN) head complete with the lamp mechanism, 150W G40 lamp (new in box), the heat filter, mirror, filter drawer with a set of Ilford filters (cut to the right size), 2x 240mm condensers, basic nega 138 carrier, all items as illustrated in my latest post.
I have additional condensers (160 but glass chipped, 130 and 85) and Lapla available for this enlarger, maybe some lenses if you need.
I have too much enlargers and darkroom stuff.
