I'm selling off my Eastman View #2 whole plate camera. The beauty of these is that they take a 6x6 lens board. So, anything you can mount on an 8x10 Deardorff or Kodak 2D, you can put on this thing. I've mounted a couple of 5 pound lenses on it.
All the movements work, slides easily on rail, front rise locks consistently even with a heavy lens. Rail is around 15 or 16". Rear tilt and swing. No extension rail included. Leather handle is non-original, but works fine.
Features:
(*) 6x6 lens board, none included ; 2D boards fit
(*) sliding tripod mount
(*) Steve Hopf ground glass (probably $75-80 by itself?)
(*) 4 holders (2 loaded, 2 not), in anti-static bags
(*) One blue replacement bellows by Sandeha Lynch in Wales.
Negatives:
The only negative I know of is that the red bellows have developed pinholes in the corners over our really harsh winter this year. There is also a small tear in the outer layer near the front standard. IMO, if you are handy, you can easily tape this thing up. HOWEVER, I'm including a replacement bellows.
The blue bellows was made for a whole plate camera with a smaller lensboard, so you will need to cut back the first few folds, but still should have plenty of extension to cover the rail.
Price: $300 + $20 USA shipping, paypal ok, USPS money orders preferred. Shipping in US capped for you at $20. If shipping & insurance exceeds that, I'll pay it. $$ to APUG if sold here.
